MEMORIAL GARDEN WITH CROSS FROM BACK

The Memorial Garden was the first project of a three phase renovation and building plan for First Christian Church. Started in the fall of 2007, Joe Humerickhouse, Ron Nagy, Dick Roberts and Gary West put in many man hours to make this garden become a reality. Cary Reeves and Al Vanderhoff spent their time in Al’s workshop to make the cross that is the centerpiece of the garden. Many people throughout the fall and winter helped them to make sure the garden was ready for the Easter Sunrise Service for 2008. A special thanks to all that bought the engraved bricks and those continuing to keep the garden beautiful.
